Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a writer, philosopher, abolitionist, and human rights activist, is notable for her long contribution to the woman suffrage struggle. While married with seven children, she was very vocal about inequalities faced by women and spearheaded the first woman's rights convention. In addition, she actively played an effective role advocating property rights for married women, equal guardianship of children and divorce reform among many things.  Join us for a full portrayal of this prominent historical figure in celebration of Women's History Month.
